Mary Kirkpatrick Bruce Terry, 66, of Roanoke Rapids died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Hampton Manor in Gaston.

Mrs. Terry was born in Glasgow, Scotland, the daughter of the late John Motherwell Bruce and Cecilia Bennie Bruce.

She is survived by her husband, William Edward Terry; her daughter, Heather T. Harris and her husband, Tim, of Roanoke Rapids; four grandchildren, Matthew Williams, Kathleen Williams, Alana Williams, and Carrigan Harris; and her brother, Matthew Bruce of Glasgow, Scotland.

Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids is handling the arrangements, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 20, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 21, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Minister Bane Angles officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
